This session is in a new location with much more space.
I use the toy to regain Riker’s attention and teach him that I am “the best game in town” and more fun than anything in the environment. Switching back and forth between toys, teaches him to play with the toy I choose plus it keeps him engaged in the game. We play loads of tug between switching toys and I use this time to put my hands on him as we play. Lastly, I mix up training a few skills rewarding with treats and then going back to playing. Balance between food and toys is very IMPORTANT for our training in the future!
ENJOY!
