Figure 8 – No Distractions – This sign requires two pylons spaced approximately 6-8 feet apart. The Figure 8 may be entered with the pylons on either the left or right side. The dog and handler will perform a complete figure 8 around the pylons, crossing the center line three times.
Instructions. The pylons are placed 6-8 feet apart. The approach may be from any direction on the entry side of the exercise.

Scoring.
Major and/or Minor Faults. Depending upon the extent of the
deviation, major or minor deductions may be assessed
1) For failure of the handler to maintain a constant pace
2) For failure of the dog to adjust its pace to remain in heel position.
3) For any heeling errors
